You should have been sent to a confirmation page that had a download link on it. That link should be referenced in the welcome email as well. If you still can’t find it, use the contact form or grab my email from the book and shoot me a message and I’ll get you straight.

Wow, the second book was even better than the first, so good! I too eagerly await the third book. Phil’s sudden turn of heart is begging for more explanation, and maybe what awaits him next as well. Seems like a storyline eager to be told. Character development is great, plot is kept in check, all great stuff! Thanks for the stories.

    L.T. Ryan - June 29, 2014 Reply

Thanks, V.R. Book 3 isn’t too far away now. The camp will be one of the storylines 😉

Ruth Rolle - July 14, 2014 Reply

Hi LT,

I’ve never read the Jack Noble series- sorry!

And I discovered Affliction Z as part of a Kindle collection of post-apocalyptic fiction.

I love post-apocalyptic fiction & zombie stuff & Stephen King. . you’re getting the picture.

I have a life-limiting condition but this genre distracts me from the aggravation of my present, the loss of my past and whatever’s waiting for me in the future.

So thank you and the other guys & girls who write these novels.

Now, all I have to do is keep going until Winter 2014.

See, it’s not just literary fiction that changes lives.

Kol ha’kavod (if you’re as clever as I think you are, you know what that means)

Ruth

    L.T. Ryan - July 18, 2014 Reply

I’m glad to hear that these books have provided a distraction for you. If you like action and thrillers, give the Noble books a try. A couple of them are free.

Hang in there and keep going!

I hadn’t heard it before, but looked up the meaning. Thank you 🙂

Ian - July 23, 2014 Reply

Great story, gripping and fast paced.
Now pull yer finger out and get the next one finished, I can’t wait” 😉

Nick - July 24, 2014 Reply

I fell upon the first Affliction Z book just looking for something new to read. I was Glad that I did. By far these two books are the best I have ever read in this genre. Myself being an inspiring writer, you have really set the level high. With that said you are someone I look up to when it comes to my writing. Thank You for the inspiration.

Pamela - August 3, 2014 Reply

Just finished Affiction Z Anbandoned Hope and simply cannot wait for Book 3. The Affiction Z books are exceptionally well written. The storyline is constant with fast paced action, the characters believable and L T Ryan doesn’t get hung up on long-winded descriptions of scenery or places. An excellent series. Well done! Cheers Pamela 🙂

Affliction Z: Patient Zero (Post Apocalyptic Zombie Thriller)
Great book. I feel if an author puts out a book for FREE, then the very least I can do is take few moments to write a review. This book was captivating and left me wanting more… which is exactly what I am getting in Book #2! However, the first book can be read as a stand alone, with you left to imagine. It is well written, unlike most free books, and kept the reader immersed in the story. Plus, it is a full length book! No novella here. While reading, we all well know that there‘s too many specific details to Lt. Ryan’s recollections, to be just an over active imagination caused by drugs! There’s just no way he stepped on an IED. And it would be just like the government to try to bury the truth… any day of the week you can just watch the news, read Twitter, etc., to see that’s the truth (Fast&Furious, Bengazi, VA, CIA, the list is just too long…). So why couldn’t it happen to our veterans serving? Especially when they discharge Lt. Ryan with so much money to pay for a very comfortable life, full medical for him AND his family for life, cutting edge top-of-the-line prosthesis, college for his daughter… the question is why are they buying his silence if it is not all true? And who is the mystery number???? So thank you for a great book, because now I am off to read Book #2! 🙂 I will recommend this book to my son, my father, and my husband… yea, this is a chick who loved this book! ~ M. E. Smith

    L.T. Ryan - December 14, 2014 Reply

Thanks 🙂 Hope the men in your life enjoy it, too!

FYI…LT Ryan is the writer, not the character. The character is Sean Ryder.

Love this series! Absolutely could not read the first 3 fast enough, and cannot wait to read the rest!
Post-Apocalyptic books are very high on my list, and as a veteran I love that these involve military personnel!!
I have recommended this series (as well as Noble) to my friends and family!!

Love the entire Z series thus far. Looking forward to #4. Hooked on post-apocolyptic stories and found this series to be one of the most engaging I’ve read. Great character development with military backgrounds. Definitely recommending the series to my husband and family members. While I wait for #4, I’ll have to try one of your other series! Can you send me a link for the short story? I had difficulty downloading when I signed up for the newsletter after reading book #2. Can’t wait for notification that #4 is ready. I have been up in the wee hours of the night not able to put this series down. Well written, rounded characters, scary zombies, interesting geographical settings, and a longing to fix all the problems your characters are facing in this apocalyptic series. Waiting on the next book with hopes it comes out soon.

    L.T. Ryan - January 26, 2015 Reply

Glad to hear you’re up all hours of the night consuming the series, Debbie! I am working on the next one. It’s still too early to say when it’ll be available, but I’m shooting for early summer.

I had been so excited to hear book four was coming out Summer of 2016 but, I was that was shut down when there was no sign of the book. It’s 2018 and I just literary re read all 3 book because they are that good! Now I cursing myself out because once again no book 4; Oh the world has ended! Lol

and I was able to binge read. But like everyone else I’m impatiently
