Nothing much else to say but, man, I love this cover.
It seems like forever since I began work on this book. And then, partway through, I threw it away, knowing it was heading in the wrong direction.
And then life intervened and threw things off track. And then we took a much needed break this summer.
To say I am refreshed now is an understatement.
The good news is that book three is moving along again and nearly finished. I’m lining up editing. The cover will be ready soon. Once the initial draft is complete, and I have a solid timeline on the editing, I’ll see about getting a preorder page up.
The second installment in the Affliction Z series is now available for purchase at Amazon. It is 40% off September 17th and 18th.

And here’s the setup:
Eight years is a long time. Long enough to prepare for the end of the world.
Plagued by unsettling dreams and memories of events he’s been told never happened, Sean Ryder spent those eight years readying himself and his family for the event.
Four hundred miles to the south, former SEAL Team 8 member Charles “Turk” Turksen knows there is no escaping the Afflicted. So he plans to outlast them.
With the outbreak threatening the United States, Sean receives a call from a ghost. A ghost who can provide his family with a chance at survival.
Both men have made their preparations. They’ve enacted their plans. Will it be enough to survive when the Afflicted come?
Made great progress on the book over the last couple weeks. It’ll be in the hands of the editor by Friday. Looks like we’re on track to release somewhere around Sept. 17th. I’ll post an update once I get the green light.
The title says it all 🙂
After a few delays related to my indecision when it came to cover design choices, the first book in the Affliction Z series is available. The content of this book was originally meant to take up about 35 to 40 pages. But as the story unfolded, I realized that it had to keep going. So what we end up with is a short novel (around 180 pages) that tells the story behind the story 😉
